The University of Glasgow Iceland Expedition is looking for a new team!

This summer we travelled to Skalanes Nature and Heritage Centre in the East Fjords region of Iceland for six weeks, and we are now looking to pass the project on to another group of dedicated students.

The expedition involves preparation work throughout the proceeding academic year, as well as several months of writeup work after. Participants will gain invaluable skills in grant writing, project planning, field work, and science communication. In addition to being rewarding and highly educational, participating in an expedition is a great opportunity to meet and work alongside other students and researchers with similar interests and passions.
Applications are open to all University of Glasgow students!
There will be a Q&A for all expeditions in the Exploration Society on Monday October 4th.
For more information about this event, visit the Exploration Society Facebook Page.
For any additional questions, feel free to message the Iceland Expedition page directly, or email us at!
